Language of Love Update

Listen to that sound as the needle pops through!

Monday afternoons I have my stitching group and I have been working on the Language of Love piece.

I am getting there slowly.

Working with all seven strands (yes 7!) of the Silk d’alger (Au ver à soie) is interesting. The work is voluminous, almost three dimensional.

The hoop stand is a Anneome 2pcs Cross Stitch Stand (very light and small, so easy to take to classes).

Tender Whispers Supplies

Tender Whispers Supplies

Shipping was being a bit of a bug bear with the Tender Whispers group – for example, my April supplies didn’t arrive until the end of the month. To avoid that, Rebecca has sent us six months of supplies – such a nice parcel to get.

I have also ordered extra thread – depending upon my chosen quote I will probably run out.

Home Sweet Home

Home Sweet Home

I am back onto my Home Sweet Home cross stitch – I am enjoying the process.

It is a 40 count linen (Zweigart, but I don’t know the name), Au ver à Soie 100.3 (colour 650).

The pattern is from Modern Folk Embroidery.
