Mystery Shawl Knitting

Clue 1 Progress

I have finally started knitting the Goff Mystery Shawl from KDD – It is from the Mysterious Knits book (I think it’s from 2023). I bought a kit. So far, it’s easy knitting – I just need to keep track of my rows, so I know when to change colours.

I am weaving the ends in as I go, and I didn’t bother with a swatch. I am happy with the fabric and there isn’t going to be fit issues.

Finished Item – Scarf

I made a scarf, it’s blocking at the moment.

I used recycled sari silk from the Thread Studio.

The pattern is the Boomerang Shawl.

Mine is quite small, I will need to use a shawl pin to wear it. I should have bought two balls and just kept going.

Scout Shawl Knitting Progress

I have re-started my Scout Shawl. I am finding it much easier to knit with straight needles. I have gone down to 3.25mm needles – I was using 4mm before, and I much prefer the fabric.
