Cards – Machine Embroidery

I have enjoyed having my embroidery machine set up. I have been embroidering on Heavy Cartridge paper – it works well.

I am using a medium weight cut away stabiliser, a sharp needle, bobbin thread and Robinson Anton rayon embroidery thread.

I am also using a bone folder to fold the cards (a game changer).

The design is from Urban Threads

Christmas Cards

I’ve started thinking about Christmas.

I’ve decided to make some Christmas cards. These cards are quite labour intensive, so I shall be using purchased ones as well!

The above image is off my sewing machine stitching the christmas tree design, (Design is from hereĀ ).

Below is the finished card. I’ve simply sewn the fabric onto a piece of card stock.
