I’ve been working on the above cardigan since March and I’m struggling – I’m not even half way through yet. I decided I needed a new project to inspire me.
The latest Notebook magazine had three knitting projects – a shawl, blanket and hot-water bottle cover. I decided to try the hot-water bottle cover – it uses 14ply wool and 6mm circular needle, so I thought it would be a quick project.
Here is my progress so far …
I’m using a circular needle – I found out the hard way that the length of the needle needs to be about the same or less than the circumference of your project. I’m sure that 80cm 6mm circular needle will come in handy some day.
As it is cold and wet and my sewing room is freezing, I think a bit of knitting might happen.
