Mod 9 Backing Plan B

Something happened my nine patch strips weren’t the same size, so no nine patch blocks on the back. Instead I’ve decided to have two strips of alternating blocks and the rest a plain purple. Like this … The background in the above picture is the plain purple I plan to use.

Mod 9 Quilt Top

I’ve sewn the blocks of my ‘Mod 9‘ quilt together (yes, it is hanging on my clothes line). I plan to add a white border. I’m happy with how this has come together – all of my seams are aligned (very unusual).

Summer Shirt

I finished my Summer Shirt (from Weekend Sewing by Heather Ross). I used a thicker fabric than recommended because I wanted to wear this in autumn and possibly winter (with something underneath).
